The 60-year Reunion

The reunion organised by Derek Heywood, Ron Jones, Erica Hamman, Stella Morris et al to mark the 60th anniversary of their School Certificate exams was an exceptionally enjoyable 'do' — in fact Derek found the whole thing so encouraging that he plans to make it an annual event. A total of 54 Old Farnworthians spent a most pleasant afternoon reviving old friendships and demolishing a well-stocked buffet, the centrepiece of which was a magnificent cake decorated with the school's coat of arms.
