1951: Mr. Wilson's last Speech Day

The picture was taken on the 28th February 1951 and appeared in the Bolton Evening News. Mr Wilson retired later that year.

The original caption read: "Picture taken at the distribution of prizes and certificates at Farnworth Grammar School last night shows the Headmaster Mr. A. Wilson giving his report. Sitting near the left corner of the table is Prof. Ross D. Waller M.B.E., M.A., Director of Extra - Mural Studies at Manchester University who distributed the prizes."
