The first sketch shows the familiar FGS building which was demolished in 1988 by order of the vindictive vandals of the local authority. Bill Clarke has written to say that the absence of the flat-roofed extension built in 1938 to house the Library and the Biology Lab suggests that this 1984 sketch was probably based on a drawing or photograph from the mid-1930s. |
