- FGS 1950 to 1955
- After a very short time with De Havilland Propellers at Lostock,
worked at the NCB Area HQ at Walkden.
- National Service in RAF 1958 to 1960.
- Local Government Officer with Lytham St Annes Corporation from May 1960
till early retirement in June 1996, then Fylde Borough Council.
- Married Joan Rothwell, (see 1953 panorama, Group 1)
Joan died in November 2009.
- Three boys now all grown up. 5 Grandchildren.
- Trustee and Secretary to the Poulton & Wyre Railway Trust.
We are hoping to re-open the disused Railway Line from
Poulton Le Fylde
to Fleetwood.
