Keith Seddon asked why nine girls are wearing summer dresses and two are wearing
Sixth Form winter dresses. Geoff Thomas responded as follows:
"During Pop Rice’s time the ‘larger’ girls were allowed to wear the blue sixth form dress. How far down the school this went I do not know but a girl in our form wore this uniform in, possibly, L5 but definitely in U5. My sister, later, also wore this uniform. It could be that they were allowed this dress all year instead of the gym slip and gingham dress or it could have been in the ‘change over period’ at the beginning of summer term."
