Farnworth Grammar School Excerpts from Lumen

The 1938 Lumen is notable for the report of a suspiciously bizarre lecture/demonstration given by an alleged overseas visitor, and for a nice piece of dialect verse by a talented sixth-former. The new wing mentioned in the Editorial was the flat-roofed extension at the boys' end of the school building that housed the library and biology lab.
There are three pages of excerpts. There's a RETURN button at the foot of each page to bring you back here. |
