The young future headmaster on the left will be immediately recognisable to anyone who was at FGS during the 1920s, '30s and '40s. Please contact me if you can name the other teacher* or any members of the team.

* Harry Jack, who has much experience in the interpretation of photographs, wondered whether the unnamed teacher might be young Percy Holgate. Harry's speculation was later confirmed by Mrs. Elsie Mullineux whose splendid memory also enabled her to name two members of this team from almost eighty years ago.
