  In November 1922 the school moved to Manchester Road, into what was then a brand-new building. The photograph was taken the year before the move, when FGS temporarily occupied the New Jerusalem School building near the Black Horse. Short pants are much in evidence, together with a couple of Eton collars, and I think there's at least one waistcoat and a pair of knee-breeches.
